I have tried a number of products on my baby's very dry skin and scalp - I really like this one. The balm is rich without being too greasy and you can apply a nice layer of it and let it absorb into the skin without it feeling slimy. It is gentle with a mild scent and very effective. The tin is a good size for the baby bag, easy to open with one hand and the solid formula means no spills!

I have to admit it was a bit of an anti climax opening the box to find the little tiny tin that Baby Balm comes in - even having purchased the larger size! It's not a cheap product and I was concerned it may only last a week. However, the balm is very firm and you'd really have to go nuts to use this product up in a short time. Rubbing the top layer and warming it results in a light film appearing that really goes a long way when applied to bub. It smells nice and soothing and doesn't leave an oily sticky feel on the skin or clothing. I've only been using it a week but so far it's gentle on my baby's dry patches and doesn't aggravate. I really love the idea that there's nothing in the product that is concerning and I do feel the product is value for money.

Usually when there's fancy packaging, I wonder if it is trying to compensate for an average product - definitely not the case with this Baby Balm! The ingredients are organic and pretty much edible (don't eat it though!). I really love the scent, you can smell the gentle sweetness of the chamomile and it soooo effective on soothing bub's skin. You could probably buy a tin of it for yourself to use as a lip balm if you wanted to! I keep a tin of this baby balm in the nappy bag and use Badger's Diaper Cream at home - combo works beautifully!

I love this balm. It worked very well for my daughter, and removed her nappy rash. I had been using another organic nappy rash balm earlier, which was good too, but I suspect it stung her a little as she always cried after using it. This one is smooth, glides on easily and evokes no tears. I'm definitely going to buy more of these.

This cute little tin of baby balm is more of a lip balm than a nappy cream - it's very nice for softening skin but it's not going to provide any barrier protection.
