The ERGO Sport shares the same unique features as the standard ERGO baby carrier range; the ergonomic design, 3 different carrying positions, and the versatility of carrying from birth (with infant insert) to preschooler. There are two main differences however, which include a detachable sleeping hood and a split for better ventilation.

Made from the softest material ever chosen by ERGObaby (65% cotton, 35% polyester), this makes the new ERGO Sport comfortable, lightweight and breathable. The cotton/polyester blend wicks moisture away making it cooler than the standard 100% cotton carrier and is over 20% lighter.

The ERGO Sport was designed for larger people in mind, especially tall dads who sometimes had a hard time fitting into the regular carrier. In comparison with the standard carrier, the shoulder straps are 4" longer and the waist belt is 5" longer, as well being slightly wider.

The ERGO Sport is also less costly than the standard ERGO carrier range. With family budgets tightening under the current economic climate this may well be the best news of all!
