I wish I'd found Food Face plates when my children were younger.

I've got a bit of a thing about melamine, as it's made with a process that uses formaldehyde, and I try to avoid plastics where I can. I searched high and low for a high quality ceramic plate that was fun for children, and dishwasher safe and they were really hard to find (or very expensive).

So when I spotted Food Face plates, I knew they were a winner!

Who doesn't love making food faces and then eating them? And I think that these would be ideal for coaxing children to eat just that little bit more ... "If you eat your peas, you'll see his nose!" I could also see these being fun at crazy cocktail parties with nibblies arranged on them. Or perhaps to tempt your pooch .... okay, I'm getting a little silly now, but you get the general idea!
