Do you remember shape sorters from childhood? How many hours you'd spend locked in concentration as you put the pieces in, pulled the pieces out, put the pieces in, pulled the pieces out. Well the Green Toys Shape Sorter is that same classic toy, but with a modern eco twist. 

It's made entirely from food-safe recycled milk cartons. There are eight brightly coloured shapes that are made just for little hands. They're lightweight and easy to manipulate, so babies and toddlers can turn them easily to fit them into the matching cut out shapes in the sorter. 

Shape sorters are great for developing hand eye co-ordination, fine motor skills and problem solving skills. Once all the pieces are in, it's easy to twist the sorter, empty them out and start again. Children will practice this over and over!

Having one of these in childhood I had to get one for my daughter.
I only gave 4 stars due to the worse than lego feel under your feet when accidentally standing on a piece. These things are hard!

Great Safe Baby Toy

I bought this toy for my 6 month old knowing he wouldn't be able to do any type of "sorting" for a few more months. He likes to play with it anyhow, mouthing the pieces and trying to put them in or take them out of the sorter, shaking it to make noise. The pieces are big enough that he can't swallow them and I feel good knowing the plastic is safe for him to mouth. Very happy with this.
