The Oeko-Tex system ensures that the textiles, which have passed the tests and been certified, do not contain concentrations of substances that could be hazardous to human health. The certificates awarded to Oeko-Tex-approved products are revised and updated every year. As soon as a product is changed in any way, it undergoes testing for new certification. The Oeko-Tex test institute was founded in 1992. Since then Oeko-Tex Standard 100 has become an international standard for safety throughout the textile chain.
